Elderly Woman in a Wheelchair

My wife and I prayed for an elderly woman in a wheelchair. Communicating in what little Mandarin I know, we tried to find out what happened but the explanation was too complex for me to understand. She may have had a stroke.

So we didn't know what was wrong with her but we knew something wasn't right so we took her hand and prayed. 

She didn't jump out of her wheelchair but there was a visible change in her face and body posture, as if her entire body went "aaaaah..." and relaxed! 

Incredible. 

In the meantime, we'll keep believing that the seed of healing has been planted and it's going to consume every part that isn't working right. 

I absolutely loved this opportunity to minister with my wife and have my kids watch and learn!


UPDATE: 31st OCTOBER 2016

An update on the lady who was in a wheelchair yesterday. We saw her OUT OF HER WHEELCHAIR TODAY! We spoke with her and noticed that she has some speaking difficulty so we'll be praying for that next but she kept giving us a thumbs-up and waving enthusiastically as we left turning around and telling people next to her what we did for her. 

So there are times when what we pray for doesn't happen immediately but may happen later. We stand in faith and believe that the healing process has already begun in their bodies.


Today while grocery shopping, I had the chance to pray for an elderly man who had suffered 3 strokes, walking with a cane and a lady recovering from major surgery on her leg which could not be used for a few months and caused the muscles to deteriorate. In both cases, they did not have pain or display any signs of improvement, but my job now is to stand upon the truth that healing has begun in their bodies.

Holyween 2016

What a night! We had about 4-5 cases of healing while we were walking about. 

1) A teammate joining us for the first time had a wrist strain for about 2 months. Healed! 
2) A Sri Lankan dentist with a bad back, Healed! 
3) An old classmate of mine had her neck Healed. 
4) Her husband had his knees and calves Healed! 
5) A domestic worker we prayed for experienced warmth over her back as we prayed. 

This is what the everyday Christian life should look like, just like the book of Acts. It's time to leave our traditions aside and go out and do something that the Bible talks about! C'mon!

A Week of Healing

What a week so far!

Six cases of healing ranging from severe constipation (you should've seen him run to the loo after), person with chronic back pain that disallowed her to sleep flat on her back got healed, person with inflamed finger healed, person with a knee and ankle brace healed and able to hop on the previously injured foot, person with tailbone injury and upper back injury healed, person with shin injury and was in tears healed as well! 

May more be freed tonight as we hit the streets!! C'mon!!

Healing at Work

Just came back from having a Briyani lunch with my colleague. 

I saw a sec school boy with a knee guard and ankle guard hobbling around. So, I went up to him and had a chat. I asked if I could show him something about his knee and prayed and the whole group of boys watched the pain subside and disappear! I first healed his knee and then ankle. Got him to hop around on that leg and he was totally healed!! 

THEN.. My colleague told me about pain he had in his tailbone and upper back. Prayed a few rounds.. GONE! What a day!!

Carousell Buyer Healed

Last night, a lady came to our house to buy some stuff we advertised on Carousell. 

While talking she mentioned that she has a stomach condition that causes bloating and pain when pressed. 

So Jas and I prayed for her, with no visible change. I felt prompted to ask about her back. She was surprised and asked "How'd you know about my back?". 

It turns out she's been having back pain that doesn't allow her to lie flat on her bed when she sleeps. We prayed again for her back, commanded the back and muscles to loosen and align. Again, no visible change. 

But we got this message from her today :

"Praise the LORD. My back not pain when I'm laying flat on bed. Thank you for praying for me!"

Unstuck

I prayed for someone who had constipation pain past two days. After a few rounds of prayer, he suddenly said he had to rush to the toilet! Off he ran!

Hurricane Matthew

A group of believers, stood up to the hurricane in the name of Jesus and watched as it lost strength and turned away. 

With the media announcing impending doom day after day, they've trusted in the name above all names and have been swimming in the hotel's outdoor pool in "hurricane" conditions. 

P.s. It's been a quiet tranquil evening with light sprinkling of rain and a wonderful breeze
